10th Annual Community Book Drive – A Day of Caring Event
Now through September 14
Literacy Initiative for All Ages
The Hagerstown Rotary Club, Hagerstown Area Religious Council, the United Way of Washington County, MD, the Judy Center, and the Washington County Early Childhood Advisory Council are once again partnering to collect books for all ages, and are asking the community to help with the collection of books. Books may be new or gently used, and can be dropped off at many local participating businesses, houses of worship, Rotary Clubs, and organizations, among other venues.
Why Donate? Collected books are used in a collaborative effort to improve literacy throughout Washington County. Books are distributed in areas of the community that ensure the greatest impact on the most vulnerable children and adults. Your donation improves child and adult literacy by empowering our residents through the gift of a story.
